Sirelo Entertainment was founded by Sirena and Chelo Mercado, a husband and wife team with over 10 years of experience in the entertainment / music industry. Sirena and Chelo met in College in 1996 and have been partying together ever since! Sirena is a self produced artist based in Jersey City, NJ. Originally born in Chile, this songbird has been working the New York / New Jersey scene since 2004. Chelo first started his artistic journey in Florida where he first started to spin LED Poi at parties and major venues. Soon after he found himself back in New Jersey, in college, and in love. Their first major event was their wedding. Their ideas were so unique that they had a hard time finding an event planner, or suitable entertainment for their special event. This is when they called upon their artist friends to fill in the gaps where ordinary entertainment companies left off. Theirs was a 3 day camping wedding in the middle of the forest. Their guests set up tents and camped out for two nights. They had 6 DJ’s, LED Hoola Hoop Twirlers, Fire Spinners, Singers, Light Art and Projection Artists. Their wedding is still being talked about today. The wedding was the catapult for Sirelo Entertainment, they realized that they not only enjoyed going to and motivating amazing parties, but that planning unique events was their true calling. Sirelo Entertainment has since been involved in the success of many events.
